The Feast of Divine Mercy

Sunday, April 28th

through the celebration of the Eucharist and our 3pm Divine Mercy Prayer Service

 Prayer Service will include Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction, Prayers of Divine Mercy, Veneration of the Image of Jesus, the Divine Mercy, and Liturgy of the Word.

HAPPENINGS AT ST. PAUL RC CHURCH

The Academy of St. Paul will be closed April 18th through Monday, April 29th.

Children’s Choir is cancelled on Wednesday, April 24th.

Harrison House Meals is a residential care facility for people with HIV/AIDS located on the grounds of Bergen County Regional Medical Center.  Twice monthly, volunteers from our parish cook meals for eight people.  Volunteers are needed for Friday, April 26. If you can help or for more information, please contact the Parish Office (201)327-0976.

First Communions begin on Saturday, April 27th at 2 pm and 5 pm. Congratulations to our First Communicants!

The  Feast of Divine Mercy will be celebrated at  St Paul Church on April 28th, the Second Sunday of Easter — first through the celebration of the Eucharist (normal weekend mass schedule) as well as a  3pm Prayer Service which will include Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction, Prayers of Divine Mercy, Veneration of the Image of Jesus, the Divine Mercy and Liturgy of the Word.  All are welcome to join us!

Join Fr. John Gabriel on his next pilgrimage “The Passion  Play in Oberammergau plus a cruise on the Danube River.  September 20-30, 2020. The reservation deadline is May 2, 2019.

NJ ASSISTED SUICIDE BILL

New Jersey is set to become the latest state to legalize assisted suicide, as the state Legislature has passed a bill allowing this practice, which Gov. Murphy is scheduled to sign into law sometime in April.  Join the archdiocese in opposing the Aid in Dying for the Terminally Ill Act, A/1504 and S/1072.  Call Gov. Murphy's office (609) 292-6000 and ask him to veto this bill!

ST. PAUL MEN’S PRAYER GROUP

EVERY Tuesday – Parish Center - 6:30AM and 7:30PM

For 250+ consecutive weeks men of the parish have been meeting every Tuesday. All men of the parish are invited. Whether you stop in occasionally or are a regular you should consider joining the men.  The topics are contemporary and relevant. Recent topics include “Render Unto Caesar - Can You Be A Christian & A Patriot?” …. or “Sometimes Jesus Calms The Sea … Sometimes He Calms The Sailor”. It is a wonderful experience. Eucharistic Adoration Schedule

Eucharistic Adoration is held on the First Friday of each month, from 7-8pm

Extended Eucharistic Adoration is held on the third Monday of each month, from 12:30-7:30pm.  Within this “third Monday” Adoration schedule, a Holy Hour for Life is held from 6:30-7:30 pm.  Please join this prayer effort so that all life is both protected by law – and welcomed in life – from conception to natural death.
