"God Is Good All The Time"

Family Promise of Bergen County

Family Promise is the only organization in Bergen County that provides shelter and support to working families who become homeless. These hardworking families struggle because even though their income is not enough to afford a place to live it is enough to disqualify them for most forms of government assistance so they have nowhere else to turn. The week of July 22-29, 2018, St. Paul Parish will be hosting up to four families with up to 14 individuals from 5 pm on Sunday, 7/22 through 7:30 am the following Sunday,7/29. The families will be staying at the Academy of St. Paul. We seek at least 35 volunteers to help with preparing meals, entertaining children and staying overnight.

EVERY Tuesday – Parish Center - 6:30AM and 7:30PM

For 250+ consecutive weeks men of the parish have been meeting every Tuesday. All men of the parish are invited. Whether you stop in occasionally or are a regular you should consider joining the men.  The topics are contemporary and relevant. Recent topics include “Render Unto Caesar - Can You Be A Christian & A Patriot?” …. or “Sometimes Jesus Calms The Sea … Sometimes He Calms The Sailor”. It is a wonderful experience. No RSVP or special invitation required. Just come and add meaning to your week. For information contact John Nunziata (This email address is being protected from spambots.
