RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS

RCIA - (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process for initiation into the Catholic Church. It is a rewarding journey of faith development, learning and prayer. RCIA is for unbaptized adults; adults who are baptized in another Christian faith but interested in becoming Catholic; adults baptized Catholic in need of First Communion and/or Confirmation. You are invited to inquire and find peace, wisdom and reconciliation. You will learn how the History of Salvation is relevant today. Have you ever wondered about the devotions and gestures of the Catholic Church? Do you really understand the Mass? Did you know there are more than 12,000 saints? Can the Beatitudes, if practiced, be the solution for peace in the world? When did reconciliation replace confession? All this and more …. RITE OF ELECTION

On Sunday, February 22nd Danielle Yager and Dorothy Natt, her sponsor, along with Rob Natt and John & Chris Nunziata experienced an incredible Rite of Election ceremony celebrated by Archbishop Hebda this past Sunday. It was moving and impressive - Danielle is now a member of the "Elect" as she prepares to be Baptized and receive Confirmation and First Eucharist at the Easter Vigil on April 4th. Congratulation to Danielle as she continues her spiritual journey with the support of the Saint Paul community. There has been overwhelming positive reaction to the Rites and Dismissals at varied Masses. This is a blessing for our parish.
