Healing Our Church

logo

healingourchurch2The twin crisis of sexual-abuse and cover-ups in the church has hit us all very hard. For many of us it has shaken our faith and trust in the Church and like all trauma if not openly addressed, it has the power to control us in ways we may not be aware. As one survivor noted, " To begin the healing process, one must face the truth and admit what has been lost".

Beginning in October our Parish will host a 6 week small-group discussion program moderated by fellow parishioners.  The sessions are designed to encourage reflection and conversation about the clergy-abuse crisis.   Registration will take place Saturday Sept 28 and Sunday Sept 29.   More information will be provided in upcoming bulletins and on the Parish Website.
